To me, the most important thing is uncovering the soul of the narrative. I aim to ensure that technique never gets in the way; it exists to sustain the story and lend it beauty, without eclipsing the essence of the written word. I seek an authentic connection, free of artifice. My goal is for what we capture on film to be not just a striking visual, but a lasting emotion.
When I’m not on set
I like to keep my curiosity moving in other ways. You’ll often find me in a theater seat, discovering the stories others are telling, or visiting an art show. The rest of the time belongs to travel, conversations with friends, and quiet hours at home with music or a good book—moments where I simply slow down to reset my creative lens
